Ibn Taymiyyah ( d.728H)- rahimahullah- said: There is no criticism for theone who proclaim the way ( madhab) of the salaf, who atttaches himself to it and refers to it. Rather, it is obligatory to accpet that from him by unanimous agreement (Ittifaaq) becasue the way (madhab) of the Salaf is nothing but the Truth( Haqq)
