I am proud to be an involved, motivated and directed parent. I take pride in being a person of my word. I believe integrity and loyalty to be two of the most important attributes of an individual. My ethnicity is half Cherokee/half Jewish. As such, I've often wondered if my passion for advocacy of the victimized and the forgotton began with my genetics. I am appalled by those whose values lie in superficiality and those who consider themselves superior to others based on whatever material possessions they might have, but I take the experiences I have had with such people to give me cognizant reminders of what I do not wish to be in my life.
