My 5 Fundamental Assumptions:
1) The universe is real; the phenomenon (the world as I perceive it with my senses/instruments) and noumenon (the world as it truly exists) are one and the same.
2) The universe is intelligible through my experiences.
2a) I form beliefs about reality based on physical evidence.
2b) The strength of my belief is directly proportional to the amount of supporting evidence.
3) Predictive models are superior to non-predictive models; the superiority of a model is directly proportional to its accuracy of prediction, congruity with other empirical models,
