I'm trained as a Cell & Molecular Biologist, with a focus on Cell Signaling in Cancer. This refers to research on the physiological processes & genetic networks that lead to Cancer. I spent 12 yrs on various key aspects of that, working as a bench scientist in labs of research institutes in Singapore, US & Canada. Then in 2007, I moved to work in research in the pharmaceutical industry, where I worked on development of anti-cancer drugs, leveraging the background in Cancer Biology.
