Dr Siouxsie Wiles describes herself as a microbiologist and bioluminescence enthusiast but to others she is “that pink haired science lady”. Head of the Bioluminescent Superbugs Lab at the University of Auckland, Siouxsie combines her twin passions to understand infectious diseases.
