I'm an educator and a union organizer. After working in the classroom for more than a decade, I've taken a full time job as a union organizer. But whether it's in the classroom or working with members, my primary concern is always helping people understand and build their own power. That's why I'm such a passionate supporter of civics education, and I'm constantly talking about ways that we can improve it.
