Sohini Sarkar is an international development expert with a strong background in urban and economic development. Ms. Sarkar currently serves as the co-chair of InterAction鈥檚 Shelter and Settlement Working Group and CHF representative for the Global Shelter Cluster. Prior to joining CHF, Ms. Sarkar spent over five years at the Fannie Mae Foundation leading multiple initiatives on affordable housing and community development in the US. She is also pursuing a Doctoral Degree from American University focusing on scaling up provision of affordable housing for the urban poor.
