Becca is still grieving the death of her son Danny and struggling in her marriage to Howie. At her sister's birthday party, Becca and Howie get into a fight after Becca may have recorded over a video of Danny. Later, Becca doesn't want to live in their house because of the memories and accuses Howie of cheating. She then has a conversation with Jason, the person responsible for Danny's death, where they discuss parallel universes. In the end, Becca reconnects with an old friend and decides to have sex with Howie again, showing she is learning to cope with her grief.
