I'm a transplanted Minnesotan who lives in exile in Texas. I hate the heat, love the cold, and can't abide having the "Dallas Stars" just up the road. I want to retire (someday) to a cabin "up north" somewhere in the wild outback of St. Louis county. There are real bears up there! I know Madrid麓s underground like the back of my hand, although I麓m not entirely sure that this is a good thing. I think that the bean and cornfields of Minnesota are just plain beautiful in August, but you can just feel that winter is hiding just around the corner. Wonderful.
