I grew up in Chapmanville, West Virginia up a hollow called Barker Fork. I spent a lot of time at both my grandparents house on Garretts Fork and Harts Creek. I moved to NC in the ninth grade and moved again and again and graduated from Champanville High. I went to Marshall University and received my BA, and received my MA from Salem University in Salem, WV. I am presently working on my doctorate at Grand Canyon University.
I have been married for 15 years to Matthew Vititoe. He works for the state road as a transportation engineer. We have not been blessed wtih children yet, but we hope for it everyday.
