The Academically and Intellectually Gifted Teacher provides direct and indirect instruction to
students, promotes advanced learning opportunities for all students, and collaborates with school personnel to ensure differentiation for all AIG learners is administered.
Essential Functions:
•Provide direct and indirect instructional services to AIG students who demonstrate a need for
differentiation in core subjects
• Plan a program of study, employing a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students
• Organize enrichment experiences to develop potential within students and enhance the learning
experience
