For some people, music is a great escape from reality. For Steve Gamo, music is his way of life. Born 1990 in Chicago, Illinois, Gamo grew up listening to a lot of hip-hop and electronic music spun by Chicago鈥檚 top Djs. This electronic vibe stuck with him throughout his hip-hop production. Gamo has worked with many artists including multi-platinum rapper Too Short, D.T.P.鈥檚 Willy Northpole, Black Wallstreet's Juice McCain, along with Paper Route鈥檚 Swag. His style of production is one of a kind, and he originally composes all of his music. In 2007, Gamo began singing and writing lyrics to his beats, as well as rapping.
