The government should protect individuals from all enemies domestic and foreign. It should support an infrastructure that benefits the common welfare of all people. Although many laws are based on commonly agreed upon morals it does not follow that all laws are moral or that all morals need to be made into laws. Abortion in my opinion is immoral. Abortion should not be made illegal because the black market that will be created by outlawing this behavior would be worse for society than the behavior. Similarly, the black market that has been created by making drugs illegal is worse than the behavior of taking the drugs. The government should not protect me from myself. It is my business if I c
