I have worked in the caring profession since 1979 starting off as an auxillary nurse and progressing onto managing residential settings and supported living services. I worked for two years in the social work team with a focus on PLD and in 2008 took up a position as Learning and development manager for a company that supports people with a learning disability and/or Autism. I support staff with their CPD and provide training for external companies when required.
