Had started career as a programmer (engineering) in National Computer Centre (NCC), Nepal since 1982. Progressively had positions such as System Engineer, Sr. Software Engineer. Was incharge of systems programming, operations of ICL 2950 mainframe computer systems, Prime & DG 7800XP mini-computers. Worked as System Analysts in various projects including Telecom Billing, Telex Billing, Personnel Records, Population Census Data Processing, Election Results Information System etc. Did a lot of COBOL & FORTRAN programming too.
