This document outlines the challenges and improvements at Glenn Hills Middle School over several years under Principal Glenn H. Andrews. In the first year, there were issues like bomb threats, gangs, disease outbreaks, poor teacher performance, and an unclean building. The principal established an organizational structure, discipline plan, and school improvement processes. In the second year, the principal addressed teacher behavior and performance through establishing expectations and accountability measures like data collection and intervention processes. Discipline and instructional practices were structured to support student achievement and address teacher accountability. After several years of improvements, the school raised its standards and conducted performance reviews to continue progress.
