I am passionate about conservation and research. I believe that a holostic apprroach to ecology is essential when protecting, maintaining and reviving ecosystems. I enjoy field work, data collection and analysis and tying in new reseach with existing reseach in order to make a more complete picture of how things work and what is needed for them to continue working. My original reseach focused on the pollination biology of a plant in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The reseached focused primarily on its nocturnal pollination and relationship with a particular insect. Previously, there had been little known about the pollination of Plumbago auriculata, particularly in that region.
