I could list a few things but everyone else is going to have something similar so here's goes nothing:
- First exposure to computers was at the Frankfurt Airport when myself and my brother were travelling to Canada. We had a layover for a few hours and got to hang out at the ticket counter. I was about 13. A wonderful Punjabi speaking German lady let me play on the terminal and wrote a program for me:
10 Print "Tahir Zia Khawaja"
20 Goto 10
I was hooked!
- A few months later I wrote a video game on the Sinclair TRS-80 in basic. This was a very crude version of Space Invaders. The TRS-80 had 1k of memory, and I used every single byte. My father bought a 16k RAM expansion module....
