Life is not a journey to the grave with the intent of arriving in a well-preserved, pretty body, but rather to skid in sideways, all used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, "WOW, What a ride!".
Survivor of a rare type of bone cancer. Had to have my right leg amputated June 18, '08. Was fitted for my 2nd prosthetic Feb. '10. Two days before my amputation, June 16, 2008, I became a grandmother, or, as I like to refer to it, a "Sexy Nana". Then for the topper, I had a heart-attack Oct.18, 2010, open heart surgery on the 25th of Oct, and am recouperating very well.
