Tarig Khalid is a project management/software engineering/business analysis professional, university lecturer, guitar player, and novelist. After doing his M.Sc. in power systems engineering in 1992 he shifted his career to software development.
For nearly a decade, he worked for the Central Bank of Sudan where he again shifted his career to project management. As assistant manager of the Banking Technology Department, he managed several projects at the national level. During this period, he was exposed to regional and international experiences through dealing with international companies, participating in technical conferences, as well as visiting many countries.
