Ta-wei (David) Guu, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist interested in and devoted to immuno-neurosciences, sleep, ageing and related issues. He was under Prof. H.K. Sytwu's guidance in college, and inspired by Prof. K.P. Su in psychiatry research afterwards. After post-graduate training in National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), he visited the Stanford Center for Sleep Sciences and Medicine in the US and learned the essentials in sleep medicine, and then practices psychiatry in China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) and then China Medical University Beigang Hospital as an attending psychiatrist and chief of education division, department of education and research.
