Easter '69, while returning from a visit with Susie Thompson, a James Brown concert, and the Mississippi beaches, I nodded and rolled a brand new Opal Kadet. Bought a '65 MGB which broke down several miles down the road. That would be the beginning of my mechanical career. On Oct.15 1970, I had a blowout in that MGB and fishtailed into an approaching Chevrolet. I spent the next 7 weeks in a striker frame due to 2nd and 3rd vertebrae fractures. Everyday's a bonus!
