Texas CASA partners with the CASA community to be a voice for abused or neglected children through the power of volunteer advocacy and change in the child protection system. We provide financial assistance, training and technical support to 69 local CASA programs that serve foster children in 206 counties throughout Texas. Local CASA programs are independent nonprofit organizations that recruit, train and support volunteers to advocate in court for the best interests of abused and neglected children in foster care. CASA volunteers help guide these children through the foster care system and to safe permanent homes as quickly as possible.
