My specialty is engaging students in meaningful lessons that broaden their minds. My goal is to make students as excited about coming to my class as I am. I believe in using all sorts of technology both in and outside of the classroom to enhance learning and to give students a truly enriching experience where they are so actively involved in the material that they may not even realize how much they learned until after the lesson. I think that the older modes of education (lecture, standardized assessment) have their place, but they can be super charged by using humor, the media and technology. I try to do all of these things in my courses.
