I am an environmental health practitioner/academic and have been involved in the field of environmental health since graduating from my undergraduate degree in 1989. I have worked for Queensland Department of Health and have been lecturing at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) since 2003. I have undertaken postgraduate study in environmental and occupational health, management and education. I completed my doctoral degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998. I am currently Senior Lecturer in Environmental Health and the postgraduate course coordinator at the QUT School of Public Health.
