My career began in 1982 with long-term assignments in agricultural research and irrigation agronomy. In 1993, having developed an interest in results-based management, I switched to short-term consulting as a monitoring and evaluation specialist. This gradually evolved into my current somewhat wider role in advising at most stages of the project cycle – from elaborating intervention logic using theory of change / logical framework / results framework tools; through mentoring, capacity development and assistance in specifying indicators, milestones and targets; to annual, mid-term and final reviews and evaluations.
