I started my career at the newspaper De Morgen as Logistics Manager on the one hand and Database Manager on the other. As Database Manager I helped migrate the whole Advertising Department of De Persgroep - called IMPACT Regie at the time - from loose, individual excel sheets to a complete relational, server-based database.
Then I moved to the national sales house "Full Page" where I also helped upgrade the database system. I was very much responsible for the whole move as liaison person between the sales team and the IT department. My passion for technology means I know more about IT than the average user and can communicate well IT-lingo towards the end user.
