The Alumni Association was formed in 1871 at the same time that the University of Central Missouri was founded as Normal School No. 2.The association鈥檚 organization has changed through the years, but its mission remains constant.

The UCM Alumni Association embraces the mission of Central Missouri and strives to advance the interests of the university by providing a partnership between alumni and the administration, faculty, staff, students and friends, and by providing a medium through which alumni can stay connected to the university and contribute to its ongoing success.
