Hired as a graduate by Andersen Consulting as one of the original "Retek 7", I've been an Oracle Retail (Retek) specialist since 1997 and have been involved in nine separate implementation projects. This combined with an 'insatiable curiosity' for how retail works has provided a tremendous amount of knowledge in both functional and technical areas. My aim has always been to design solutions to address gaps between the base Oracle Retail products and each retailers unique business requirements.
