The current trend is to say that customers dictate brand reputation, but I like to take it a step further and say it's not just customers - it's their communities and their stories.
As a new professional, I see a need to engage these communities, listen to their stories, and create opportunities for new stories - because that's where the power of any brand lies.
If we can change the stories communities are telling about a brand and how they're sharing them simply by listening and engaging, that's magic.
