I was dumped at the shelter by my owner. I was over weight and had difficulty walking. The shelter did not really want me either. They thought I was 11. The nice people at a Rescue "sprung" me. My foster Mommy came to get me a few days later because she knew a senior lady should not be in a kennel and I was too old to go to the farm in Amaragosa.
I spent 3 months in the foster home. There was another Border Collie, Skeet that tolerated me. I had a crush on the Shepherd - Malmute, Skelly but he did not want to play with me either. I lost weight and started to run around the yard and play. A vet said I was more likely 7 years old. I loved snuggling my foster M
