Professional Profile
I have worked for 22 years as an elementary teacher. During the last years of her career I learned new teaching strategies through The ProEd Foundation 鈥淭eachers Teaching Teachers Program鈥� and earned scholarships given by SENACYT to increase my knowledge in the areas of Science, Math and Evaluation. I have experience integrating these teaching areas through classroom projects, a guided Reading Project (La Prensa of Panama), and coordinating scientific activities in the classroom with the support of Biomuseo Panama and Smithsonian. My teaching style promotes problem solving, scaffolding, critical thinking, collaborative work and effective learning in the classroom.
