Since 2001, I have been doing research within the field of computational biology. Over the years I have focused on several topics including molecular evolution, gene expression, protein expression, post-translational modifications, protein interactions and more recently drug interactions.
The theme in all these years has been the integration of data from different data sources to gain new insights into biological and biomedical processes. To do this, I have implemented numerous perl scripts, loaded data into various sql databases, visualized networks in cytoscape and used R/BioconductoR for statistics.
