Vijey Thayananthan received the MSc in Telecommunication Engineering and PhD in Digital Communication Engineering from Lancaster University, UK, in 1995 and 1998. He joined the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Glasgow/Strathclyde University, UK as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in 1998. Since 2000, he had been appointed as a Research Engineer in Advantech, Southampton University Science Park, UK and a Senior Algorithm Engineer in Amafax, UK.
