Vinícius Werneck is a Fulbright Scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, and a doctoral candidate in political science at the Institute of Social and Political Studies, Rio de Janeiro State University (IESP/Uerj). He has worked as a consultant on media, campaign and politics in Brazil. He was also a Lecturer in the School of Communications at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), and has studied presidential and local elections in Brazil and the United States, having published book chapters and journal articles on the subject.
