Rowan is a failed accountant, who discovered that, although
he can’t count, he can start new companies.
These include www.nakedwines.com, the only online wine
retailer in the world that INVESTS in its winemakers, to get
better wines at preferential prices. Before Naked Wines
Rowan also founded Virgin Money, Virgin One Account, and
Virgin Wines.
With practice, he is gradually getting better at it, with the
result that Naked Wines has recruited over 100,000 new
customers in only 24 months, won the IWC Innovator of the
Year Award, and the Growing Business Start Up of the Year
award.
