As the SVP of TLD Villa, Wael oversees the development and implementation of gTLDs . His current work includes definition of a global-class corporate gTLD system with implementations in both the ASCII-based character set and other-languages IDN. Wael also works as the Senior Vice President of WiseDots, a Los Angeles-based TLD consulting firm.
His recent work has been focused on Arabic Domain Name Systems technology. He is on the Board of Directors of the Middle East DNS Forum. He founded the Arabic Group at the Multilingual Internet Consortium in Singapore and is the Co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Arabic Internet Group, chaired by King Abdullah of Jordan.
