William Panzer, also known as Bill Panzer, is an Oakland based attorney and musician. William Panzer coauthored proposition 215. Proposition 215 led to the legalization of marijuana for strictly medical purposes for adult patients in California. William is a member of NORML's board of director's and a member of its legal team. He speaks at many NORML events and seeks to educate the public about marijuana use and its benefits for medical and recreational purposes. He plays guitar and song writes for several local Oakland bands including the band Stonetrout and a local Grateful Dead cover band. William Panzer also enjoys restoring old cars and his favorite band is the Grateful Dead.
