About
I have a background of Materials Engineering and research/industry experience on inorganic materials synthesis. Current major in graduate school is materials chemistry, tackling and pushing limits against energy storage device challenges especially Lithium-sulfur battery. Under the guidance of Dr. Xiulei Ji who is one of the pioneers in the Lithium-sulfur field, constructing novel electrode design and optimal electrolyte environment for commercial battery having 200Wh/kg with >500 cyclability without significant capacity decay is my research goal. DFT calculation for polysulfide binding on materials are also being studied.
