Cynthia G. Wagner began her career at the World Future Society in 1981 after receiving a master’s degree in communications/magazine journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Starting out as an editorial assistant for THE FUTURIST, she also contributed numerous brief book reviews to the Society’s professional networking journal, The World Future Society Bulletin.
In 1992, Cindy took the helm as THE FUTURIST’s managing editor, selecting and developing articles and news stories and overseeing the writing, editing, design, and production of each issue. In January 2011, she succeeded Edward Cornish as editor.
