I am a research fellow studying the digital transformations of publishing, learning, and knowledge communication, particularly relating to open access, social networking, and disruptive technologies; my research interests also include creative/digital economy, Internet startups, and digital China. I worked in the publishing industry for over twelve years as a senior editor, sales director, and consultant.
