My research interests are (1) multimodal data fusion, (2) unsupervised approaches to uncover knowledge and semantics, and (3) interactive machine learning for building intelligent user interfaces.
I have been developing data fusion algorithms based on sparse coding to recognize and visualize patterns from multimodal human data for imaging understanding. The human data modalities I've used are electroencephalography (EEG), eye movements, and speech.
