Yael is a clinical psychologist and lecturer in the Psychology department of the University of the Witwatersrand where she is the course co-ordinator of the General Honours program and a member of the MA Clinical Psychology training team. In addition she has a private practice where she sees adult and adolescent patients for psychotherapy, she also has a special interest in the treatment of eating disorders. She is currently a candidate in psychoanalytic training through the South African Psychoanalytic Association (under the auspices of the IPA).
