My work involves the design, curriculum, and research of game-based learning environments for educational and social challenges, change and impact. As director of Quest2Teach, I create game-infused learning curricula and community systems for pre-service and in-service teachers with the goal to attract, prepare, support and retain highly effective educators. Additionally, I am a Learning Scientist with the Center for Games & Impact, helping to explore and innovate theoretically rich and empirically grounded models for how games can drive meaningful, sustainable impact and tests these theories in relevant populations.
