I have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil with over 7 years of R&D experience as a research assistant for the Brazilian power industry in the application of nonlinear optimization models to large-scale problems in electricity. I am currently a research staff member of IBM Research Brazil.
I have either authored or collaborated on papers about hydropower generation published in JCR journals and conference proceedings sponsored or organized by the IEEE Power and Energy Society.
