I was born in Ipoh and studied at Malay College Kuala Kangsar. I won a Shell Scholarship to read Accounting and Economics at the University of Kent, United Kingdom where I graduated with a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in 1992. I subsequently obtained a Master degree in Economics from the University of Malaya (2009). I have been a member of MENSA since 1989. I have more than a decade鈥檚 working experience in managing marketing communications, distribution channels and product branding at Shell Malaysia Trading and Maxis.
