My family is Greek, I mean really ethnic. At any given time, you can smell garlic infused lamb, spanakopita, or lots of oregano. The garden is full of tomatoes, squash, herbs, lemons, well, you name it, it's there. You might also hear the Greek Channel on Dish through the windows, Greek being spoken between friends and family, and lots of hugging and stuff goes on. Yes, just like in the movie. I mean, talk about a good representation of growing up Greek was like. You do know that every English word comes from the Greek!
