Mestek Lamine is a PHD student in Political Science and International Relations at Algiers -3 University. His dissertation research is on “Security threats in the Sahel region and its relationship to the Algerian national security.” Mestek holds two Master’s degrees from Tizi-Ouzou and Blida universities, Algeria, in Political Science and International Relations respectively. The first Master’s thesis was on “Darfur Crisis and its regional and international dimensions.” The second one was on “The Human security in the Sahel and the role of Algerian Law.” Three of his articles were published in the African Journal of Political Science.
