Mestek Lamine is a PHD student in Political Science and International Relations at Algiers -3 University. His dissertation research is on 鈥淪ecurity threats in the Sahel region and its relationship to the Algerian national security.鈥� Mestek holds two Master鈥檚 degrees from Tizi-Ouzou and Blida universities, Algeria, in Political Science and International Relations respectively. The first Master鈥檚 thesis was on 鈥淒arfur Crisis and its regional and international dimensions.鈥� The second one was on 鈥淭he Human security in the Sahel and the role of Algerian Law.鈥� Three of his articles were published in the African Journal of Political Science.
