In the beginning God created the entire universe by his Word. He then made people in his own image (ask me what this means if you don't know) and placed them on earth in a garden. These people were to worship God which, because of God's loving design, would bring them the most joy possible which would in turn honor the Lord and bring Him joy as well. They were also supposed to love one another and they were responsible to taking care of God's beautiful creation that he had given to them.
